• Replace failed lamps/drivers; standardise colour temperature (CCT)
• Checks: No flicker; matching colour across area

Emergency lighting tests

• Monthly function test; annual 3-hour duration test; log and repair defects
• Checks: All fittings pass required duration; records updated

Repair/replace sockets, switches, spurs, faceplates

• Isolate, test dead, re-terminate to spec; replace damaged/heat-marked accessories
• Checks: Polarity correct; CPC present; plates level; grommets fitted

RCD/RCBO checks

• Operate test buttons; schedule formal testing
• Checks: Trips within spec; labels/date stickers updated

Containment & cable management

• Refix trunking/tray; fit grommets/bushes; tidy and label circuits
• Checks: Lids secure; no sharp edges; IDs present

Controls & energy saving

• Install/commission PIRs, photocells, timers; set hold-on/timeout
• Checks: Sensors trigger/reset as intended

PAT testing programme

• Test and label appliances; remove fails from service; track remedials
• Checks: Records complete and current

EICR & remedials

• Arrange periodic inspection per use class; action C1/C2 promptly; plan C3 improvements
• Checks: Current certificate on file; defects closed out
